How Do we Become Great or grow in Christianity.
Many people think it's many years been in church.

       Spiritual maturity is not obtained by chance and also not measured by amount of biblical information and doctrines you know but 2 Timothy  2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth
After being saved to believers, its not over.God wants us to grow.God plans for us is that we can become more like him. Should we still remain like children? I guess you are saying no. But nowadays Christians grow older but never grow up in Christianity.
We are not children anymore so let's start growing.
Ephesians  4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
  If you are ready to mature in Christianity then consider the following steps;
     First step is DEDICATION.
You can only remain, and stay in growing when you decide to work for God.some Christian are not growing just because they are not willing to grow. I want to tell you that,be commitment. Indeed if you desire to become greeter, then decide to grow and make effort to grow. Don't quit from Bible reading, meditation, fasting and prayers. You see in this life, we become whatever we are committed to.And nothing shapes our life as Christians more than commitments we choose to make. Continue helping the church,family, friends etc dot ceased because doing that and making good things done shows that you are growing.
So if you really want to be greater work more.
1 Corinthians  15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
what-is-next-after-salvation now-that.
Second step "WORK OUT"
Working out here is what you are doing to preserve and protect your Christian life.As you are desiring to become greater, you must begin to act in new ways.Adapt new habits which will helps your Christian life. See how Apostle paul told the church at Philippi in Macedonia
Philippians  2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.  2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
 The verses contains "work in and work out". The "work out" is your duty and the "work in" is God role. If you prove to God that you're zealous to grow he too will supply you the ingredients to mature.
Philippians  4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Third RENEWAL OF THE MIND.
No one on this planet earth do things anyhow,it takes only the unwise.
Behind everything man do is a thought. So if you want to change your life to become mature Christian, then change the way you think.Most Christian are still children because they think they can't not be great.
Bible advice us we should be careful how we think because our life is shaped by our thought.
The way you think shows the way you feel,and the way you feel influence the you act.
Romans  12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
To be great Christian you should develop the mind of Christ. You can only transform to new Christian in power by changing the way you think. Never admit that you are weak,change that thinking and rejoice that you are great.
Joel  3:10  Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
