Every temptation is a chance to do good.Temptation helps Christian on their path of spiritual maturity. One good thing i know about temptation is that,it always provide choice. Many think temptation is the primary weapon to destroy Christian but on the side of God,it's tool God Use to develop you.  HOW TEMPTATION WORKS It helps us to know that Satan is entirely predictable. He has used the same strategies and tricks since creation. All temptation follow the same pattern. That's how for this reason apostle Paul said" we are familiar with his evil schemes".
