CAN CHRISTIAN BE POSSESSED?

 This topic over the years is confusing Christians. Many think When one becomes Christian you are free from demonic bondage others also says it's never true.
With unbelievers,all the parts of their life is driven by the devil, his whole being belongs to him.They can therefore be in a state of total possession or Demonic Possession. Unbelievers BODY,SOUL AND SPIRIT is controlled by satan hence he can't communicate meaningful with God as his father.
 John  1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
      The answer if Christian can be possessed is NO!. Christian can never be possessed. But he can be demonized. And this can be done in two ways. Satan can not have total control of all the three parts,namely, BODY,SOUL AND SPIRIT,but can control one or two.
God intention for man at salvation is that,all the three parts will be free indeed.Christian Who goes back to his vomit may experience demonic bondage or Christian who body or both body and soul soul in complete bondage by satan if he was demonized before repentance.
 Here,his spirit life is totally liberated, and man who could no longer communicate with God is reconciled to him and relates to him since God says man should worship him in spirit and truth.
John  4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
   I told you earlier that,satan can never control all the three parts of Christian. Either the body,soul or both.

When satan holds Body in bondage it's called DEMONIC OPPRESSION.
The body is held totally under bondage and the Christian is tormented in various ways,for instance, illnesses. This Christian however though he's in bondage in one area has his free because of continued reading and meditation on the Word of God. Simply, when one  fall sick,it consequences greater affects the body mainly.

The other way Christian can be demonized is DEMONIC OBSESSION.
This has to do with believer soul and body or only soul is held in bondage.
You see the body contacts the physical world and gathers all information. The body then send all the information from the outside world to the "SOUL" or "MIND" to be stored to build up one's character.
The soul is actually your mind because the mind is the seat of all intellectual and emotional qualities. Our mind is to be renewed by scriptures daily.
(Romans  12:1) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
(James  1:21 )Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
