Building the church of God require your support with your whole being.
Your whole being here consist of your physically, Spiritually,Financially, Emotionally and Mentality. (Nehemiah 2:17-18,Haggai 1:3-11,Jeremiah 48:10,Colossi ans 3:23,Luke 10:27)
  Through building God church that your DESTINY will reveal. The much effort you put into God's work contributes chances to your spiritual growth. So if you really want to see your stage of your maturity in Christ and also to see God hands in your daily life,then you have to work zealously for God..
Nowadays,most Christian are lazy.They are always waiting to recognise their spiritual gifts before they would work for God. And this ideology is false. Before you can notice your gift or your maturity in the ministry then i as said earlier,you need to accomplish the task given universal.
The universal task that our Lord Jesus Christ commanded every believer to do is EVANGELISM. Ask your self your last time on evangelism field. Though there are chosen evangelist for the Evangelical ministry but it's still universal for believers.
Fathers does not gives GIFTS before his children perform their duties. But  good performance that his children would put on in the course of the duties trigger the father to awards the children.
Therefore if believers are really expecting spiritual gifts and advanced level in their maturity then you must also prove to God your best side of working for God. Take your time and read the above scriptures painstakingly,you will realised that God want our best time and effort for his ministry.
